Well like most North Texans in the past few days we have been spending most of our evenings inside; not normal for us! It has been pouring down rain for days now. BUT, the good news is this past weekend we had a fairly good break in the weather and we spend both Saturday and Sunday outside mowing, playing, bike riding, swimming, weeding our gardens, etc. And of course we went Toad hunting. We ended up finding a few. PS: No Toads were hurt while making this post.

Motocross 2007: Texas Stadium

Drake, Mason, and I went with some friends of ours to the annual Motocross event at Texas Stadium ( a month or so ago). I got these pictures from my buddy Pete a week or so ago and thought I would share them. Awesome time!

It rained all night and all morning. We spent the morning hanging out in the RV before we decided to head home.

BUT>>>>>then the rains came and came some more and kept coming...we were in the middle of grilling our steak and potatoes when the Hurricane hit....So, we finished cooking. We were like a bunch of "wet rats" when we had our dinner in the RV.

It rained off and on Friday night. On Saturday it was nice. About 75 degrees and cloudy; not the usual hot and humid spring day we expected. The rain held off for the entire afternoon. We decided that we would go fishing and swiming. Our family friends; The Dickson's were camping with us.

Father's Day Camping Trip

When my family asked me what I wanted for Father's day I said that all I wanted was to go camping for the weekend with them. So...we did! We went to Lake Lewisville; a rough 8-10 minute drive from our home. We had a great time. We left Friday afternoon.

We celebrated Drake's 7th Birthday this past Friday June 8th....oh yeah and it was also Hayley and I's 11th wedding anniversary!

The boys wanted me to post some pictures of them in their baseball uniforms.

States we have visited...thanks Shane for the idea.

Countries we have visited.

The boys in their baseball uniforms.

Okay, I am not doing a very good job of keeping the "time line" correct on these posts. But, here is a picture of all of the people who were at the hospital the day Kade was born.

Grandpa Ray keeping Drake and Mason in line...

When we visited KS we stopped by to visit Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Ray....Grandma made Kade one of her world famous Quilts....Thanks Grandma!!!

The boys had a very fun and successful baseball season. In fact, Mason has grown up so much this season that he decided he needed to shave before his game a few weeks ago.

Here is a picture of some of the 2nd cousins....

Here is a picture of Grandma Betty's kids......

Over Memorial day weekend we visited Fall River, KS; Home of the annual LaMunyon fishing, camping, eating, hanging out, swimming, skiing, family "get-together". We all had a very fun time. Attached is a picture of all of us (except Kade; he was sleeping) on the pontoon boat.

We thought that we would go back a month or so and catch you all up on some of the things that we have been doing as a family (of, course we added a new baby boy on April 12; Kade Owen). A few days before Kade was born Drake, Mason and I went to Rocky Ridge about an hour north of here and rode our new (1986 Honda) 4 wheeler. We had a blast.

Test Posting

I am posting this post to see if all of the emails that I have added to my google group, that I created just created, receive an email saying that I have updated th blog...test...test...let me know! Kelly

It has been a very busy spring. Mason finished his tee-ball season and Drake finished his baseball this past weekend. Drake's team finished 4th in the league season end tournament. Kade is growing. He went to the Doctor this past week and is now 15lbs. Sage is busy cheering on (and bossing) all of the boys. Nana Trucks from New Zealand has been visiting with us since May 31st. She will be leaving TX June 15th.

And the blog begins...

Well, I have finally decided to take sometime and create a blog so that all of our loved ones can see and read...and most importantly...share in our lives....MUCH, MUCH more to come...Kelly, Hayley, Drake, Mason, Sage, Kade
