On Monday night I lost my first tooth. And it bled a lot. But after a little while it stopped. It did not hurt at all. And I have another loose one next door. The tooth fairy came and gave me 60 cents and 2 dollars. Mason.

Savannah, GA
Savannah is a really neat city. We went on a horse drawn carriage ride throughout the city and seen most of the old squares. The city was found in 1733 and the first person was buried in the city cemetery in 1735. Two of the first laws in the city were that there would be NO hard liquor and NO catholics allowed. As a Catholic my thought was "if they didn't have hard liquor why would the Catholics want to be there anyway" (ha! ha!). There was Spanish Moss hanging from all of the trees. It is a really beautiful city. A mix of Pirate, Revolutionary War, Civil War and Modern history. The attached picture of the square if were Forrest Gump ate his box of chocolates!
Savannah, GA
This past week and weekend were busy for us all. Drake, Mason, and Sage spend 5 fun filled days in Kansas with Grandma Barb, Grandpa Ron, Aunt Jody, and Colt. While Hayley, Kade and I spend the time in Savannah, GA. We all missed each other but enjoyed ourselves. We were in Savannah for a Farmers conference which mixed about 30% work and 70% fun. The big kids went to the zoo, rode go karts, bikes, and went swimming a lot (Drake & Mason's words). Our hotel room was located right at the mouth of the Savannah River. Kade enjoyed seeing all of the cargo ships pass by and we even seen the USS Hue City port.

We had a few visitors at our home this past weekend. The semi-pro bike racing team "In-A-Tub Racing" (Kip and Eric) and their trainer (Tyler) raced in 4 different criterium races in Dallas. Eric finished 4th in two of the races while Kip had a career best "break through" finish of 8th in the last race of the weekend! We all really enjoyed spending sometime with them and watching the race....don't kid yourself...watching a race on TV is not the same! Hard core sport! We can't wait to watch them race again the end of August at the "HotterThanHell 100" here in the great state of TX!

Happy 4th of July!!!!
Last night we all went to see the 8th best rated fireworks display in the nation. We went to Addison's Kaboomtown! We have to give a special thanks to Detective Pete of the Addison Police department for making sure that we had a FRONT (very front) row location (the department's parking lot) to see the fireworks. The kids really enjoyed it. PS: God bless the United States Marine Corps who helped to give us the freedom to spend this holiday with our families and friends...don't ever forget how we got to this point! Don't take it for granted!

Mason's Biking Tips
Lake Murray Oklahoma
This past weekend we decided to take a family trip to Lake Murray in Oklahoma. When we crossed the Red River we knew that the flooding here the area was massive. The river was as close to the bridge as we ever seen. And, of course all night on Friday is rained and rained and rained all night. But, Saturday it did not rain and we sent swimming, rode our bikes, watched the boats and burned a fire. We had a great time. Love Drake, Mason and Sage...who decided what to write on this post.
