Another Full Week

Mason had his first Football game this past Saturday. Drake and Mason's first day of school was this week. They have to wear a tie on Thursday's for Mass. They are really liking their new school.

Grandma Nicky Visit

The past week Grandma Nicky visited us from CA. She went to the Lake, the water park and Mason's Football practice to name just a few places. We really enjoyed having her!

Lake Lewisville

Well needless to say by the time we got the camper running all of the spots at the lake were full. So we were lucky enough to have the Holland Family invite us out for a full day on the lake. We had a great time tubing, floating, wake boarding and skiing. Thanks Pete and Stacy.

Camping Trip to Lake Murray

So last night (Thursday, August 9th) we went done to the RV storage to pickup the RV so that we could get it packed and ready to go camping for a the weekend at the Lake....we even have a special guest (Grandma Nicky from CA) visiting....AND...when we got there the RV would not start. It was dark and late...it had power, spark, and air...but no fuel....so it was the Fuel Pump or the relay switch the runs the the fuel pumps....either way I did not have the time to make the fix (easy repair if you have the time). The solution....While I was at work today Mum and the kids hired a REALLY COOL tow truck to take it to the mechanic to get it fixed. As Mason put it the tow truck was AWESOME!!! It was the relay switch and at about 4:00 today we picked it up. We will be packing it in the morning and heading to the lake!!!!

Drake and Mason were able to ski again this summer. Drake was able to get up on his skis "almost" all by himself this year. Both of the boys Wakeboarded for the first time and did a pretty good job. Mason even took a ride on Dad's back while he was Wakeboarding....and, yes this will be the last year that we can do that....my back is broke. Sage skied for the first time!!! She did great. And, Josh knee boarded for the first time!!! He did an awesome job!!

We all were able to swim and float in the warm/clear water. We floated for basically two days straight all day long. The kids swam and swam and swam....

This past weekend we made our annual trip (7.5hrs one way) to Table Rock Lake to visit The Hurlbutt Clan. We got to see Bob, Judy, Ryan, Tracy, Josh, Jesse, Rob, Kylie, and Katie. We had a great time and want to Thank all of the Hurlbutt's for letting us "invade" their home and lives again this year. We had a GREAT TIME!
