Lake Thunderbird, OK

We spent this weekend on a short vacation to Lake Thunderbird just outside of Norman, OK. We met the Hurlbutt family there. We all had a BLAST! The lake, weather, and friends were GREAT!! Can't wait to do it again soon!

Lake Murray Oklahoma

Yesterday we spent the day at Lake Murray in OK. It is only an hour drive from driveway to boat ramp. The water is crystal clear and the lake has some great coves to relax in. We spent the day, floating, swimming, wake boarding, tubing, etc.....

4th of July

This 4th we hung out in the back yard at the "Phillips Water Park"(patent pending) for most of the day. We then took the boat out on Lake Lewisville in the late afternoon and evening. We watched the Lake Dallas fireworks from a cove. It was really cool to watch from the boat on the lake. It made for a late night, but at least Hayley, Drake and I were able to stay awake....everyone else was OUT on the boat ride home.

Helicopters and Mohawks

Well, as usual I have been behind in keeping everyone updated on our activities. Summer has been a blast so far. So here are a few posts to update you all on some of our fun!

We went to the Denton Airshow this year and the kids got to see some really cool planes and helicopters. A few weeks ago we let Mason and Drake have a Mohawk for a week or so while Drake was playing on a team that he was picked up to play on during a state baseball tournament. We quickly removed them after the last game. But, the kids enjoyed looking like UFC fighters for a while; even Sage.
